Zcash had a bug which resulted in someone potentially creating 99% of the zcash supply. And now that it is a privacy chain you cant audit the supply.
Dont listen to these grifters, they’re not into zcash, they just get paid for promoting this scam.
Crypto privacy began with the transfer.
It focused on the first obvious thing to protect - what moved, how much moved, and who was involved.
Zcash and Monero proved that demand is real.
But markets expose more than the transfer.
Before anything settles, the market can already see a lot.
- It can see where an order is going
- It can see the route being taken
- It can see the condition someone is waiting on
- It can see the logic an agent is using before the agent acts
That is where privacy becomes harder.
A market has layers.
1️⃣ The first layer is the transaction
This is the part most privacy tools have focused on so far.
2️⃣ The second layer is execution
This is how the action moves before it settles.
3️⃣ The third layer is intelligence
This is the strategy behind the action. The condition being watched. The trigger that decides when something happens.
Most crypto privacy has focused on the first layer.
Encrypted Markets go deeper.
They are about protecting the parts of market activity that reveal intent before anything executes.
Because in markets, the final transaction is often just the result.
The real edge usually shows up earlier, in the decisions and conditions that shape what happens next.
That is the layer Nillion is building toward.
Encrypted Markets are where market activity can stay private while the system still runs.
$2T+ global crypto market.
$66B+ in daily trading volume.
$168B in DEX volume over the last 30 days.
Crypto’s biggest proving ground has been markets - trading, swaps, liquidity, lending, payments, vaults, agents.
But the bigger these markets get, the more obvious the privacy problem becomes.
The market still runs in the open.
Orders can reveal strategy before they fill.
Routes can show how someone is trying to move.
Conditions can expose what a trader or agent is waiting for.
Execution logic can be visible before it runs.
It becomes harder to ignore when trillions of dollars in value and billions in daily volume are moving onchain.
Encrypted Markets are built for that next stage.
Markets where sensitive activity can stay private while the system still runs.
The goal is not just to hide what moved.
It is to protect the execution, logic, conditions, and coordination around market activity.
Because as more finance moves onchain, privacy stops being a niche feature.
It becomes market infrastructure.
That is where Nillion is building.
🛡️ @Cardano just set a new decentralization record
Yesterday, Cardano hit an ATH Nakamoto Coefficient of 16 🤯
For users, that means stronger censorship resistance and a network controlled by many, not a few

I really think we should completely flip the current #Cardano#Governance process.
Instead of starting with "here's the NCL number, now let's find projects to fill it", we should begin with strategy.
First, define clear, time-bound objectives for the next budget window (6 or 12 months). A Strategy Committee or Intersect working groups could draft these initial goals and put them up for DRep ratification before any detailed costing begins.
Examples might include:
• Raise DeFi TVL by X% with Y% organic retention
• Hit Z key infrastructure milestones (Mithril upgrades, scalability releases, wallet standards, etc.)
• Deliver specific adoption outcomes (enterprise pilots, real-world payments volume, etc.)
Then break each objective into concrete deliverables, timelines, and success metrics, and cost them out realistically.
This would give us proper category budgets, for example:
• Core Infrastructure & Security: ₳11M
• DeFi Growth & Liquidity: ₳22M
• Tooling & Dev Experience: ₳33M
• Adoption & Real-World Use: ₳44M
• Governance & Coordination: ₳55M
• Strategic Reserve / Carry-over: ₳66M
After #CardanoCommunity / DRep review, we approve the overall budget. The NCL then becomes a simple technical enforcement tool — set automatically as "approved budget + 10-15% buffer" for emergencies or unforeseen needs.
Additional improvements that would help a lot:
• Rolling 6-month windows with mid-term reviews and reallocation rights
• Mandatory post-spend reporting tied to KPIs and continued funding
• Clear carry-over rules so unused funds don't vanish or encourage artificial spending
• Different guidelines or percentages for bull vs bear markets
The current "set NCL first, then fill the pot" approach was understandable while the system was young, but it's exactly why we keep running into these capacity crises. Moving to genuine strategy-led budgeting would make any discussion about increasing treasury capacity far less controversial — because the spending would be justified by real outcomes, not just available headroom.
Framework first. Outcomes first.
The strongest token utility is not another dashboard badge.
It is economic alignment.
NorthStar is testing a model where DEX revenue can be distributed to NSTAR holders by connecting protocol activity with the community supporting it.
This bill literally requires President Trump to divest his digital asset holdings or put them in a blind trust.
It's becoming painfully clear some of my Democrat colleagues would rather let consumers lose everything if a crypto exchange fails and posture for the midterms than pass market structure legislation with unprecedented ethics standards covering the President, VP, Congress, and the Federal Judiciary.
Fact: Algorand has become significantly more decentralized in 3 years.
• From 250 to 1,500+ validators
• Community stake grew from 30% to 80%
• P2P networking live on Mainnet
• xGov lets block proposers vote on funding proposals
Can your blockchain say the same?
‼️ @Cardano may be much further ahead than the current sentiment suggests.
Right now, cardano:native is ranking #1 in bullish sentiment on @CoinMarketCap.
And unfortunately, the current market may not fully reflect that work yet. But markets change, and when sentiment turns more positive, we’ll likely see much more of what Cardano has been building beneath the surface.
And none of this happens without the community.
Without you guys, the technology is just technology. The community is what gives it meaning.
Cardano keeps building. Cardano keeps moving forward. And we’re proud to be part of the journey.
Cardano fam, we’ve got a lot to look forward to.
in 2024, when I said Elizabeth Warren was the #1 lobbyist for Banks, local reporters or commentators looked at me like I was crazy. I said you have to ignore the rhetoric and the things that she says and look at what she does.
She wants there to be 5-6 major banks that she gets to have control over. She told @chucktodd that America was ready for a consumer-based CBDC - which would be the greatest act of government control over its citizens in American history.
Update on Wanchain Cardano<>BNB bridge incident:
Since our last update, we've been coordinating closely with our exchange partners on a wider industry response to contain the impact of the attack.
A number of exchanges, including KuCoin, Kraken, Binance, Bybit, OKX, Gate and MEXC, have acted swiftly to implement precautionary measures and restrict the movement of the stolen assets.
These measures include temporarily freezing accounts and addresses associated with the incident, blacklisting wallets linked to the attacker, and suspending NIGHT deposits and withdrawals where appropriate. This coordinated response significantly reduces the attacker's ability to move or liquidate the stolen funds.
The security and integrity of the Midnight ecosystem remains our highest priority. Our exchange partners have confirmed this is an isolated third-party bridge incident, not an issue with the @MidnightNtwrk or the NIGHT asset itself.
We're continuing to work directly with exchanges and our ecosystem partners to investigate the incident, and will provide further updates as soon as relevant information becomes available.
We encourage the community to follow official guidance and to remain cautious of unverified information circulating during this period.
We wanted to provide a brief clarification regarding the recent incident involving NIGHT.
The incident is isolated to the Wanchain Cardano–BNB bridge and does not involve the @MidnightNtwrk itself. Midnight's protocol, validator network, consensus, and core infrastructure remain secure and continue to operate normally.
This was a third-party bridge infrastructure incident affecting cross-chain transfers between Cardano and BNB Chain, rather than an issue with the NIGHT asset or the Midnight blockchain.
We are in close contact with Wanchain as they continue their investigation and response. Based on our assessment, we do not believe this incident changes the security or operational integrity of the Midnight network.
We remain confident in the resilience of the Midnight network and will continue to keep partners informed should there be any material developments.
