The Journey of Science Bridges:
With the same passion and dedication that has driven us so far, Science Bridges is excited to carry its vision forward into 2025, building on the remarkable milestones we’ve achieved to date.
April 2015:
The concept of Science Bridges was conceived, envisioning a nonprofit organization dedicated to bridging the gap between scientific discoveries and public understanding. The mission also included fostering interdisciplinary collaboration within the global scientific community.
May 2021:
Official launch of Science Bridges in Ontario, Canada, as a modest initiative supported by volunteers. The primary focus was translating complex scientific findings into accessible information and fostering community engagement through events.
December 2023:
Science Bridges expanded significantly, establishing a network of hundreds of scientists from prestigious institutions worldwide. These collaborators shared their groundbreaking research and discoveries on the platform, contributing to its global reputation.
February 2024:
The organization introduced a youth volunteer program, empowering young minds to participate in spreading scientific knowledge. This initiative aimed to replace outdated information with current scientific insights, fostering curiosity and lifelong learning within the community.
