And: let's talk more about scicomm between peers (not the general public). This is so important for interdisciplinary projects, but also for grant proposals. You need to be able to clearly say what you are doing and why.

Main takeaway for me: not every scientist needs to do or be great at scicomm. But they get a different view on their projects if they think about it from a scicomm perspective.

If your audience wonders: "Why on earth is she telling me that?" you have lost them. Connect the dots, share the relevance, give them the big picture. A (seemingly) random accumulation of single pieces of information is a killer. #SciComm #teaching
