This Wednesday, June 10th we will join the call to #ShutDownSTEM! We urge all scientists and STEM workers to stop business as usual for a day to focus on actionable plans that work towards ending anti-Black racism.

On June 10, 2020, STEM leaders from across the globe will be leading an initiative encouraging scientists to take a day away from daily STEM/Academia activities, and make a plan for how they will act to eliminate anti-Black racism. (1/4)

On International Day of Women & Girls in Science we remember the "Mother of Hubble," Nancy Grace Roman, who passed away in December at the age of 93. Despite discouragement, she studied math & science and became NASA’s 1st chief astronomer. #WomenInScience https://t.co/9yRJwCfybl
We need officials who will take action. Put the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change report in the inbox of every elected official in the US. Demand they take action. If they dismiss the findings, remember that on November 6. We have one chance at protecting our future.
Do you think we should have more evidence-based policy?
Then please share with everyone you know who loves science and make sure they are registered to vote! #ScienceVotes

@jackiewalorski@melforcongress, How can we lead the world against climate change? How can we show the leadership that we showed in WWII, in the Cold War, In the Third Agriculture Revolution? How can we unlock American Innovation to help protect and preserve our world?
I don't even have the words. We need to take action now, as individuals, as communities, as nations. This might not be easy, but it is necessary. Our generations' legacy cannot be the destruction of the world we work so hard to improve.
