Sent the kids home for break with some holiday science magic. They had so much fun making iconically bonded ornaments! @ScienceWithMrsH and I may have worked harder than the kids on this one - but we learned a lot for next time.
My Ss collaborated with @Carlygirl910 Ss to create a gigantic interactive Periodic Table of the Elements!
Ss identified where each element is used in their everyday life, while also researching the history and properties of the elements!
⚛️ Mrs. Hollinger’s science class built Bohr Models to help them understand the structure of an atom. Students put gold and silver beads in the nucleus to represent protons and neutrons and then placed other color beads on the outside rings to represent electrons. #WCconnects
