I am primarily interested in ways and methods of producing health and well-being among Black, particularly diasporan, populations who often reside in deleterious and alienating social environments.
Let me express my deep gratitude and appreciation for you both. Meeting and conversing with you brothas was the capstone to my first trip to the Motherland. I cannot thank you both enough and I'm anxiously waiting to our meeting of the minds again. Blessings & Respect ππΎββοΈ
@Th3AfricanDiary I didn't see that side of Nairobi last time. I'm a lot more curious of the city now. I'm definitely coming back to spend more time and to see y'all. Will be in touch, my brother.
@CoalhouseB For me, the greatest thing that has been occuring is this expansion of my very being. What we may talk about in theory or in abstract as being African in America has become more of a reality every trip I make internationally. It's a fundamental re-connecting to the larger family.
@CoalhouseB We have MUCH to teach each other. That's where I'm at with it. And what is constantly reinforced wherever I went was that we need to unify now.
@EmpressAdaeze The brothers had me choked up for a second. It's something I never imagined in my dreams. To be in Nairobi with such incredible and intelligent brothas. This whole trip helped to reinforce my identity as an African man in the larger world. My very being has never felt greater.
@el_budget 1) I run a low cost all black boys gymnastics club in ATL. One of my boys is the current state champion πͺπΎ
2) My challenges are cost & parents not understanding gymnastics
3) Scholarships help my boys train. Would you like to sponsor a boy? Any amount helpsππΎ
