@postoctobrist An LG oled would be great, a Sony oled would be better. Qled and mini-led are generally cheaper and most of the way there picture wise (mainly worse black levels) but can get brighter. Samsung doesn’t support Dolby vision so would avoid personally
you gotta at least be vulnerable sometimes otherwise you’re gonna accidentally use that irony shield to block a gesture of kindness that you’d rather let in
@ruwntr Apple Music can also serve stereo downmixes of Dolby Atmos music, and the majority of Dolby Atmos mixes don’t suffer from the loudness war, so do genuinely sound better even on AirPods etc, even with lossy compression. I think that’s a larger part of it than lossy vs lossless
