“We find these powers who want to impress upon us that we really don’t have much, we don’t mean much, we can only survive because of them. This notion has to be challenged, and has to be challenged by all of us.” President Kagame #WPC2026

In 2024, Ethiopian PM Abiy Ahmed and his wife enjoyed a morning run on Kigali’s iconic green track, a space designed to make fitness, dignity, and urban beauty accessible to everyone.
Today, Ethiopia inaugurates its own world-class running track and sports park. A powerful reminder that when African nations inspire each other, we all rise.

As part of @IHCRI_Rwanda , I’m proud to join colleagues from around the world in sharing clear and reliable information on Tuberculosis. Accurate knowledge is a powerful tool in preventing disease and saving lives. Let’s stay informed and protect our communities.
“Legitimate opportunities abroad go through official channels like embassies. Do not be fooled by peers posting photoshopped images in the snow; many are trapped and forced into cyber scamming operations,” Assoc. Prof. Murangira B. Thierry advised @UR_Huye students.
“Be extremely cautious of undocumented travel. Who is this stranger generously paying for your visa & flight? Traffickers bait victims with what they desire most,” Assoc. Prof. Murangira B. Thierry, urging students to reject shadowy offers promising a better life abroad.
“To aspiring journalists and the youth: do not hide behind the veil of media or advocacy to spread rumors,” Assoc. Prof. Murangira B. Thierry emphasized, noting that “freedom of speech is tied to responsibility, and your rights must never infringe upon the rights of others.”
“Think twice before you post. Even if you delete it, screenshots leave a permanent digital footprint. What you wouldn’t dare do in real life shouldn’t be done online, as your current actions can deeply impact your future,” Assoc. Prof. Murangira B. Thierry said.

Tomorrow is World Oral Health Day, and we responded with impact.
We conducted an outreach at EP Kibagabaga, reaching children at a early stage of habit formation. By focusing on prevention and oral health education, we can reduce risks and address dental caries risk early.
Proud moment! @RwandaDeafwomen deeply appreciates the inspiring school project by three great Grade 8 changemakers at Green Hills Academy @GHA_rwanda.
In partnership with their parents, @GHA_rwanda and @ArtroomIfs (GS Institut Filippo Smaldone), @RwandaDeafwomen immersed them in Deaf culture, connected them with peers (especially Deaf girls), deepened their understanding of disability and inclusion, and donated scholastic materials + sanitary kits—driving real empowerment!
Thank you for championing inclusion together!
