🗣️ I’ve seen the debate between Cole Palmer and Bukayo Saka, but I’ve overlooked it for a while.

Do you know the funny part? Cole Palmer wasn’t called up by England, but Saka was. That’s true… but what was the outcome? Did England win the World Cup?

I won’t waste so much of my energy on this debate. Look at Cole Palmer at Chelsea - his goal contributions, the great impact he makes in the team.

Do you think Chelsea can play without Cole Palmer? Look properly at that midfield. Who’s there? Caicedo or Lavia behind him, Neto, João Pedro at the front. Look at his link-up play with the players around him.

They depend on him. He doesn’t depend on them. He gets the ball and the frontline is on the run. Can you compare that with a player who plays only one single position?

Saka can’t do that for Arsenal. You can even see Arteta weighing his options on Saka’s position - Madueke is there, Tzolis can play there too, I’m sure. So I keep wondering why the debate exists between him and Cole Palmer.

I’ve said it before… I won’t waste much of my strength on this.
