Got a ride in the back in my great uncle's brand new '63 split window. We flew down West Camelback Road at 120 mph plus while "Woolley Bully" played on the radio. I've been a car guy since that very moment !!!
@lippyent These things were all over Aspen and Vail in the early 1980s. I guess they were quite trendy although I never heard anyone rave about their 4X4 capabilities. And before you knew it, they disappeared.
@NobodymrRobert my pop was chief engineman in the US NAVY during WWII and worked on huge diesel engines like this- the pistons were as big around as a steering wheel
