Keykobo has great keycaps. Turns out they build a great keyboard too.

The Kraze 65 keeps getting called the $80 USD budget king. I built it. I feel like it's more than just about the price.

💙Thank you for your patience. Let's build something great together!🛠️
The Evo75 polishes, not reinvents—diffused RGB, magnetic connectors, tool-less disassembly. Stock caps are fine, but we swapped for GMK and the board came alive. What’s your favorite keycap swap? #customkeyboard
Oblique Week: build notes. Our solder PCB was too tight for Mill-Max; consider solder as-is or hotswap. USB-C cutout is shallow, thick cable ends didn’t fit. Early sound: crisp alphas, deeper spacebar.
Midweek take: this feels like a refined F1-style isolation. Even on firm strips it types soft; alu plate keeps it controlled. Softer plates = more vibration. Clean machining, sporty angles, angled screws 🙌

Oblique week! 60% with sharp intersecting faces, WK/WKL/HHKB layouts, and a strip-style mount with 30a/60a/90a gaskets for real tuning range. Premium case/weight options and a focused build vibe.
Which layout are you taking—WK, WKL, or HHKB?

Midweek with the Athena 1800 in Green, paired with Keykobo Ohm. Clean, techy look—and no top-mount screws under the spacebar on this plate, so the bar breathes more. What caps would you run on the green? #keyboardsetup#customkeyboard
LOTUS80’s magnetic pogo + 3.4kg case = perfect match. Loving the flex-cut top mount plate (soft-plugged!), and that rear lotus weight machining is crazy. It gives Kohaku vibes in all the best ways.
Need a PC plate next run please 🙏

Fox Lab’s back with the LOTUS80, a classic F12 TKL with Zen-inspired looks & serious weight (3.4kg!). Magnetic pogo, beautiful lotus engravings, & a soft-cut alu plate on top mount—very Fox Lab. What’s your take on top mount TKLs?
Didn’t get a sound test in, but after a week with the Hex80, I’ll say this—Owlab Ti switches + gasket + CF plate feels way more balanced than I expected. Bouncy, soft bottom out, clean return. Kinda wild how comfortable this is for long writing sessions.
Side profile on the Hex80 is really clean. Low front height, smooth curve at the back, and that mirrored weight peeking through. It doesn’t try too hard—but it still catches your eye every time you sit down to type.
Been spending time with the Hex80 by QK × ATK. The frosted caps with RGB have this soft, dreamy glow that looks even better at night. Actual mirrored weight on the back too. Not just flash—it feels solid and thoughtful. Might be my favorite-looking HE board so far.
Manta keeps surprising, sounds really good! The fin weight isn’t just a chunk of metal, it’s CNC artwork. Every angle hits... except top-down, where it hides how wild the design actually is. Sleeper vibes.
This board is surgical. Hidden angled screws, 0.1mm case gaps, top-side MCU/diodes, foam tweak options, all to make the Manta feel just right. Sound nerds and builders, this one's for you.
Manta by @otosalex & Bowl Keyboards is here, a 65% with a fin-shaped weight and 3 mounting styles. Copper/brass pillars, insane tolerances, and wild internal structure.
Starting at $450. August drop.
Would you run it plateless?
