@MarkMaddenX Skenes has not only lost velocity, he has lost his spin rate and vertical movement. I think the vertical movement is most crucial. This is why he is getting hit so hard. Good pitcher absolutely. Elite? Not right now. The denial is most concerning.

Agree, but we can also say Skenes is being hit really hard tonight. His velocity is down a bit and his movement on pitches has lessened. And yes he is elite. Are we allowed to talk about that yet and be slightly concerned or will that cause Pirate employee @JMackey_PGH to have an emotional meltdown?

You are the flagship Austin. When will you have on coaches and GM and ask these questions? Shelty made weekly appearances. Maybe start putting pressure via airwaves to have Don Kelly and Cherrington answer some questions. If not, why tell us why?? Not rude and gotcha, fair questions. Why are you not addressing bullpen now versus losing valuable games that very well jeopardize your playoffs? And be prepared when they say the typical answer, “it takes two to tango.”
