This is the permanent home for this dairy cow in Kenya. This poor animal feeds and sleep in this muddy shed, despite being the main source of household milk and income. @permaculture we promote permaculture to improve animals living condition.
Students in Ebenezer school in Kisumu, parents, teachers, local leaders and stakeholders who included SCOPE Kenya and CREPP Programme came together to create awareness on local cases of air pollution and planted trees in the school to mark the world environmental day.
#permaculture empowers communities to design their land, mobilize and sustainably utilize available resources to meet their needs without depleting that of future generation. Let us fight hunger by harvesting rain runoff and use it for production of food even in dry areas.

Growing maize in already degraded land is a major cause of hunger and poverty in Kenya. As we work with farmers, let us influence mindset change towards diversification of food sources & support them bring back life in their soils to grow diverse food crops through permaculture
It is very discouraging to find piles of wastes from our homes dumped on roadsides thus polluting water bodies and our environment. Please let us all observe proper waste management.
Please do not dump that plastic bottle after drinking its content, but use it creatively to create Green wall food gardens either in schools or at household level, to alleviate hunger and conserve the environment.
