Getting ready for Chicago Live 2026's main course! The team is hard at work to bring our interactive digital wall to life. This 82 foot x 11 foot video wall was transported in 48 cases by a 48-foot semi-truck, weighing over 10,000 pounds. We're excited to bring all the live cases to life on this wall tomorrow for more than 300 attendees.

Exciting work is in progress at Northwestern Medicine Center for Advanced Endoscopy at Central DuPage Hospital!

Medical Director Amrita Sethi, MD, and Associate Chief of Gastroenterology Srinadh Komanduri, MD, recently toured the site to see the installation of new equipment and review the latest developments — and the transformation is well underway. We can't wait to open this state-of-the-art facility this spring.

Amazing Interventional team at Northwestern Medicine driving care where patients live! @NMGastro @ASGEendoscopy @NM

[Northwestern Medicine Digestive Health Institute @NMGastro]

Before the holidays, the Interventional Endoscopy team braved the cold to gather for a collaborative retreat.

This dedicated group met to welcome new colleagues and discuss operations, innovation and emerging technologies. Key focus topics included pancreatic cyst treatment, foregut endoscopy, third space endoscopy and interventional endoscopic ultrasound (EUS).

@EzraTeitelbaum @amber_shada @PDColavita @TatarianMD @htjacks @ElliotServaisMD @yooeeemd @JRTriggs @Thomasctsai @WalterChanMD The key is recognition of mechanical reflux and the need for barrier reconstruction. This is with LINX
Or C-TIF. I would not say that all
Roads lead to TIF but very few roads in 2025 should lead to surgical fundoplication:)

While we will assess competency and record them, the goal is not to establish competency at that number.
