They gave Obama the Nobel Peace Prize the minute he was elected and then there wasn't a single day of peace while he was in office.
He killed more civilians with drone strikes during his first year than Bush did in all eight of his. Without congressional approval, since you're all pretending to care about that now.
On this day 2,068 years ago Julius Caesar was assassinated in broad daylight in the middle of Rome.
But it wasn't a mob or popular uprising — Caesar was killed by a group of disgruntled senators.
Here's how it happened, moment by moment, on that fateful day in 44 BC...
When you become good at a job, you either get more work from your boss or people resent you for making too much money or not working hard enough. When you get good at your business, you work less and make more.

Woke activists and "Social Justice" types say the whole of American culture is:
-systemically racist
-a patriarchy
-a rape culture
But when Hamas rapes women, murders children, and kidnaps the elderly, all of the sudden they can't draw any conclusions about THAT culture.
You might not like what I have to say today, but I’m saying it anyway.
1) nothing in the ME is our problem.
2) both sides have done dirty shit, and both are masters of narrative control
3) either would gladly massacre thousands to get allies off the bench.
The expression “call a spade a spade” comes from the work of Plutarch, who originally wrote “call a fig a fig & a trough a trough.” Figs & troughs were crude slang for the Vulva, so what Plutarch meant was “call a c*nt a c*nt”. When Erasmus (1466-1536) translated Plutarch’s work & changed it to a garden spade to avoid embarrassment.
So in light of recent issues. Let me tell you what I’ve learned, and maybe it comes in handy for you, maybe it does not:
If you’re going to “kit up”
Ask the advice of people who have actually utilized the equipment in real world applications.
Example- @Snakeeater36 did some amazing threads on chest rigs, and associated kit that is essential to operate with. And he’ll normally answer questions when he has time, and if you’re not a jackass.
@BudLightSadness not only owns @solatac but actually uses med kit on a routine basis, teaches a variety of different hands on field med classes, and is arguably one of the most approachable guys here. And his kit is affordable and WELL put together, no junk.
@ExUmbrisDesigns are they the only folks in their space? No, there are several reputable manufacturers of quality rigs, belts ouches etc. BUT, they’re hands down the most hands on, will literally walk you through even the smallest details on setting your kit up for the best use and lifespan. I won’t buy anything from anyone except them, OR if they point me to the a company other than them. Period
Weapons systems, where do I start? Lots of veterans and PD that have served respectably and are always willing to help you setup your weapons systems down to the last broken charging handle…
Weapons retention? @Txp_RBI_Xctuxl builds the best for pistol retention, and is on here all the time and always willing to offer help.
We have people who make slings, hardware, cerakote whatever you need, manufacture ammo, sell obscure European surplus, night vision, you name it.
Books: @DolioJ books are an absolute must, period.
@joelgaines books from @WL_TAC are must haves, everything from @wayofftheres@braxton_mccoy@Brushbeater
Are all remarkable books that teach a variety of lessons, and they’re all great men, who are here most of the time.
My point is, don’t buy some sparkly thing without chatting with some of these folks and educating yourself.
Take this section of Twitter however you wish, but boy are there some great people, who will gladly teach you how to not die. Which is helpful.
If I left anyone out, it’s because I saw something sparkly. Know you’re all great men. And I’m honored to share some space with y’all.
What an incredible rabbit hole. Margaret Hamilton, awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom for "[leading] the team that created the on-board flight software" for the Apollo missions, wasn't even hired until after the completed software had already flown to the moon in Apollo 8!
This 1 ton rock contains between 0.6 and 1 per cent of copper. One ton of ore generates a maximum 6 to 10 kilograms of copper. Depending on the size of battery, an electric bus can use between 224 and 369 kg of copper. How do we get the copper out of the rock? Mining 🧵
NEW: One of the largest and most comprehensive studies on masks to date found they do almost nothing to reduce the spread of respiratory viruses.
The study was done by the Cochrane Review—a database long considered the Bible for evidence-based medicine.🧵

Deeply amused by those telling me I’ve lost their admiration due to the disrespect I show violent, duplicitous rapists. I shall file your lost admiration carefully in the box where I keep my missing fucks.
You want to fix policing? Remove their immunity so that they can be sued, and if you win, damages come out of the department's pension fund instead of from taxpayers.
They'll clean house on their own. Quickly.
Billionaire hedge fund manager letter to Google/Alphabet CEO.
Note this part: “Competition for talent in the technology industry has fallen significantly, allowing Alphabet to materially reduce compensation per employee.”
Ok, lets talk about EVs. How much mining is required to make an EV battery? Lithium brines typically contain less than 0.1% lithium, so that entails some 25,000 pounds of brines to get the 25 pounds of pure lithium needed to fabricate a single battery. #GreenEnergy 🧵

In light of the CDC admitting the unvaccinated are essentially the same as the vaccinated - & should follow the same Covid guidelines;
I I've decided it's time to start this (horrifying) thread 🧵
Next time you're being gaslit about the discrimination you've faced.
