Seven decisions in your DAW template decide how cleanly your mockup becomes a score. None of them touch the music. All of them affect what reaches the page. A thread:

4. Choose split patches or keyswitches, and stay consistent.
5. Use one naming pattern: library, instrument, articulation.
6. Leave a two-bar count-in (mainly film, TV, games).
