@itsbbplus@superTV247 No that’s incorrect. ITV2 alone was 570k, the 825k included the ITV1 repeat after the news at 10.15pm. Love Island was repeated on ITV1 at 10.45pm last night.
@WestHampsteadNW More restaurants always good but please no more burgers. A good steakhouse or Chinese restaurant could work, both feel like gaps currently.
@superTV247@bosdovja92@796gh Nah it was down a bit still. Not loads but the numbers weren’t great. I guess they’ve got the option to bring it back at some point if they choose to. They need new shows really though, but ones that aren’t such obvious attempts to be the next Traitors.
@superTV247@bosdovja92@796gh The last series was a much stronger cast yet still declined. It’s not strong enough for ITV1, it’s previously aired on smaller channels. IAC replaced it this year and did a lot better. Agree on the new stuff, they’ve done too many that feel like The Traitors and lack originality.
@superTV247@bosdovja92@796gh 1.5m every night in 2024 is probably the equivalent of 1.2m now though, which still wouldn’t be enough. Better than The Neighbourhood sure but still not enough, and being another old brand they’d be stuck with year on year declines.
@Beigerevenge The original Comic Relief one was quite funny but the rest have been awful. Feels about 15 years too late to be starting a proper celeb version too.
@sunbeam007@scottygb Absolutely. Kids meanwhile watch online where they’re exposed to the same advertising as has been banned from TV and far more besides it. Then the same politicians wonder why commercial TV budgets are cut.
@Beigerevenge Feels like they’re all struggling except BBC atm and even there Traitors is doing a lot of heavy lifting. New reality/ent formats especially hard to launch, so many just launch with low audiences.
