The Will Ospreay/Death Riders storyline in the lead up to All In has been divisive. Over on Substack, I wrote about why it has mostly worked for me: it humanizes Ospreay and has generated tension between he and Kenny in the leadup to the match. Link in the replies!

Was at that first match live and it was legitimately electric in the room. Standing ovation before they even locked up. One of the great what ifs because of how it ended, but no doubt both have absolutely killed it since.

@BackupHangman There’s a difference between a wrestling match and deliberately attacking the head of a (kayfabe) possibly injured wrestler. Always appreciate your criticism but this feels a bit undercooked. You can like or dislike the story but Ospreay’s motivations are logical within it.

It's been a staple of the mens division for a while now and I'd love to see more and more all star tags for the women as well. Great way to feature all of your talent and make the storylines feel connected.

One of my favorite match types in AEW is the big multi-person 3v3/4v4 sprints. Every time the women get a chance to do that they deliver, and tonight was no exception. Fantastic main event on #AEWDynamite where everyone looked great. Hyan in particular was super impressive.

@BackupHangman Kenny Omega is 42 years old with a history of major health issues. Ospreay is seen by the crowd as someone who can be The Guy and is going into his 3rd Wembley. They have a month and a half to tell a meaningful story between the two with Ospreay winning. No need to complicate it
