🩺 *Healing Under Threat*
*Addressing Violence Against Healthcare Workers in Nigeria*
📅 16th May, 2026
⏰ 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
📍 Google Meet
Hosted by NiMSA-SCORP in collaboration with SCOPH and SCOME.
We look forward to it
As violence against healthcare workers continues to rise in Nigeria, it becomes increasingly important for medical students and future healthcare professionals to engage in conversations about safety, empathy, communication, and the future of healthcare delivery.
I’ve been thinking a lot lately.
As a medical student, during postings, I see how many people ignore the small signs their bodies give. They only present to the hospital when the complications of the disease arrive
So I’m starting something new- a write-up series titled:
“Things Doctors Wish You Knew”
Every Friday, I’ll be breaking down common health issues people overlook in a way that actually makes sense.
No heavy jargon. No fear tactics. Just real, practical awareness you can use.
Because your body doesn’t just fail overnight… it warns you first.
First drop this Friday.
Turn on notifications if you care about your health.
Onward, always — in service, in peace, in purpose.💚
In service;
Babalola Ibukunoluwa Keziah
SCORP Deputy Director’25
Adamu Walid Shehu
SCORP Director ‘25
