According to reports, the filming for the sequel to 'Signal,' titled 'The Second Signal,' has been completed. However, due to issues surrounding the past history and controversies of another lead actor, Jo Jin-woong, as well as his retirement from the entertainment industry, the broadcast has been put on hold indefinitely.

'The Second Signal' was excluded from the 2026 tvN drama lineup publicly announced by CJ ENM.
