Happy New Year 2026! There will be many good times this year and likely some hard times, but we pray that throughout the whole year, you will know God's presence and comfort.
Finishing off our countdown of highlights from 2025 - it has to be the students! We'd a great intake of new students in September and for the first time since the Covid pandemic, we had students in every year group. It's a real blessing to see them all learn and grow together!
Back in March 2025, one of our highlights was hosting a lecture for the 500th anniversary of the beginning of the Anabaptist movement. We were joined by staff of UWS, SBC students & graduates, & many friends of the College. We look forward to our next public lecture in March 2026
Our now annual Christmas jumper fundraiser saw us gift just under £200 to Glasgow City Mission. It's a charity that we've forged strong links to over the years, with many students benefitting from going on placement with GCM. It was nice to give something back!
Our students are so creative! Whether it's singing, art, or performance, many of our students have been blessed with the gift of creativity. One particular highlight is a student who gifted us a 6ft tapestry based on a stain-glass design showing Jesus reaching out to Peter
We're counting down some highlights of 2025 over the next few days. They appear in no particular order but it's good to celebrate the good things! Always a highlight of our year is graduation. While it's sad to see students leave, we celebrate as they move into a new chapter
That's us wrapped up another calendar year of teaching. Our offices are now closed until January 5th for some much needed rest ahead of a new term and new challenges in 2026! We hope that you are blessed this Christmas season and find great joy in the good news of Christ's birth.

Yesterday was the 4th Sunday in Advent! It's often when churches reflect on love & to paraphrase a Christmas carol & Bible verse, love came down at Christmas & moved into the neighbourhood in Jesus. May these days before Christmas be filled with hope, peace, joy & love
