The 814 Black Prince (TRR814R / RTO1R) is a unique 1977 Volvo Ailsa B55-10 Alexander low height. It has come in for temporary storage with us at Scotbus Preservation Group.

Seen here in our storage facility next to ex.Xplore Dundee 7015 which is being broken up for spare parts.

🚒 One of our trustees decided to take his Fire Engine out & about yesterday. He then decided to attend the local primary school. Sadly however, it was in the evening which meant nobody was around. It will be out & about in the next few weeks within the local community. 😜😁

This is the result of some feral youths in #Dundee utilising their free travel on an @Buses_McGills @XploreDundee £500,000 bus. A growing problem that we will not accept. @PoliceScotland and @DundeeCouncil are aware.

With a reorganisation of local government boundaries, the Dundee Corporation was replaced by Tayside Regional Council in 1975. Despite what the name might suggest, buses carrying the new blue and white livery didn't venture much beyond the city limits.

We are very pleased to announce one of our members have decide to donate the 1983 Leyland Leopard, LUS436Y to us at ScotBus Preservation Group.
The plans for this vehicle will be used as Mobile Transport Museum/Shop on wheels.
