@mgolding To follow @MartaStoeckelโs post, I ask students to discuss shape, correlation, interpret intercept, and interpret slope in their small groups before starting large group circle. (I mistakenly thought kids were doing this as they prepped whiteboards, but they were not).
@valmonticue Val you were great in the equity discussion- challenging, respectful, thoughtful, real. You and @kellyoshea were able to get points across effectively to white straight guys (like me).
@BEphysics Thanks for being there - I think any deliberate examination of our practice- no matter the scale- leads to improved experiences for students and teachers
