Distrust both major political parties: Republicans & Democrats. Neither no better than? Demand term limits. Ban Congress and family from stock trading. 🇺🇸
If these were the people who were around during the American Founding, there would have been no 4th Amendment.
"Eh, who cares if the state searches our persons, houses, papers, and effects? If you got nothing to hide, why object? Only terrorists and pedophiles want privacy."
This is why "Woke 1" cannot just be written off as that one crazy time during the pandemic. This is systemic and permanent ink on these people and until it is wholesale rejected electorally and professionally when academia relizes teaching these kids this stuff leads to a complete road to ruin.
I still consider this incident -- of overt state and corporate media censorship of the bin Laden letter -- to be one of the most egregious but revealing incidents showing how our discourse is severely controlled:
I don't understand this. Never wanting kids, I grasp. But she's 36; pregnancy only gets harder from here. Why not now? She's in a safe seat. Is she expecting a job soon that is *less* demanding? Maybe some do-nothing gig like being a Senator?
Are we really just going to forget that Woke 1 was a mob mentality that temporarily ruined multiple people’s lives? I’m all for giving people the grace to change their minds, but if AOC really believes it was “crazy,” she should explain why she helped lead the charge.
AOC said just a few years ago that there was “a scientific consensus” that the lives of children are “going to be very difficult” because of climate change, thus people should think about not having children.
It’s funny how she no longer talks about the world ending in 12 years because she knows it was a lie she spread.
🚨 FLOCK VANDALISM = the end for flock?
A county in Texas terminated their flock contract because the cameras kept getting vandalized and the costs kept piling up

@unusual_whales He should resign or be removed from office for being unfit. Let him spend his remaining time with family, instead of supposedly governing.
After careful consideration and reviewing the current eligibility guidelines,
I’m officially declaring myself a @WNBA prospect.
If simply declaring who you are is all that’s required, then I meet every single requirement necessary to compete in the WNBA.
My team and I have carefully examined the WNBA’s eligibility criteria and governing framework surrounding self-identification and inclusion. Based on the current guidelines, I can and am officially declaring my eligibility for the upcoming WNBA draft in April 2027.
I know my presence on the court will stir up strong opinions.
I am definitely not here to mock, make fun of, or disrespect any community or personal choices.
I’m simply asking that the current rules be applied equally to everyone — the rules that represent the very values many WNBA players and coaches have publicly advocated for.
My team and I are prepared to ensure these guidelines are applied equally, consistently, and without exception, and I look forward to the #WNBA honoring its stated principles.
See you at training camp.

The conservatives on here denying the affordability crisis are engaged in what I can only describe as an act of political suicide. They're also lying, which is the worst part. Grocery prices are up. Housing. Energy. Insurance. Health care. Basic living expenses. It's real. It's happening. Denying it just makes you look out of touch, deceitful, and untrustworthy. It's also a completely unnecessary and unforced error. No credible person is claiming that Trump caused these price surges. You don't have to disgrace yourself by denying the reality in front of your face just to prove your loyalty to Trump. The causes for the most part are multi faceted, complicated, and longstanding. That's true. So let's discuss them. Debating whether the problem exists at all -- or, if it does exist, whether it counts as a problem -- is a total waste of time, and makes you look like a shill and a fraud.
News that the Met investigated reporter Jack Grove for four months just for researching Cambridge’s Jason Arday is incredible - yes, we have speech problems in the US, but the UK has an institutional mechanism to use police to stop reporting https://t.co/IkfAzA1Wrf
