Want to know what doesn’t qualify as harassment? Reposting someone’s own public statements.

If you choose to make statements publicly, other people are free to share those statements publicly. That’s not harassment- it’s accountability.

I’m simply giving a larger audience the opportunity to see exactly what was said and draw their own conclusions. The issue isn’t that the statements were shared; the issue is that many people don’t like the public reaction to them.

It’s easy to feel comfortable inside an echo chamber where everyone agrees with you. The broader public often has a different perspective.

And to be clear, I never shared this individual’s address. In fact, he was the one who publicly referenced mine. Despite that, he is now attempting to portray himself as the victim of harassment for having his own public statements reposted and discussed.

You’re free to say whatever you want in this country. You are NOT free from the consequences.

In 1992 Karen Bass led the Community Coalition for Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment in South LA

Her group campaigned against liquor stores, pawn shops, and gun shops, arguing they contributed to drug abuse, crime, and community decline in Black neighborhoods. Many of these stores were Korean-owned

But it didn’t stop there, she wanted to block rebuilds

She viewed the destruction as advancing their pre-existing goals of reducing the number of liquor outlets. Her organization also pushed petitions and efforts that led to moratoriums on rebuilding many of them
