@DiscussingFilm Yet according to the likes of Mark Ruffalo it's Paramount who were the worst option to buy Warner Bros. Any sane person knows Netflix have no intention of trying to maintain theatrical releases.
In light of Amazon's recent terrible decision to destroy the new Stargate series, with original writers and cast, which was made into 17 seasons and is considered one of the great sci-fi TV shows of all time. Here is the amazing Stargate SG-1 Intro Sequence.
I'll never skip this intro. I used to hum it as a kid. #amazon #stargate
Reminder that @AmazonMGMStudio, who cancelled the new Stargate show because it would honour the previous shows and actually appeal to fans (shock), also now own the James Bond franchise. If this isn't a warning that they'll destroy that franchise too, I don't know what is.
You may or may not care about Stargate.
But you should know that a new show was in development and Amazon canceled it because it would appeal to Stargate Fans.
This is how all the big studios feel about your favorite franchise, btw.
I hope Amazon bring in some idiot like Paramount did with Kurtzman and kill the franchise. These clowns love burning money chasing the mythical modern audience which has never existed. Clearly no lessons learnt watching Disney and Paramount destroy large franchises.
EXCLUSIVE: The new "Stargate" TV series has been axed at Amazon.
The show was first announced with a series order in November 2025 and hailed from showrunner Martin Gero, who was a writer on "Stargate SG-1" and "Stargate: Atlantis." Sources say Amazon execs were concerned that Gero's take on the series would not have broad appeal beyond the franchise's already dedicated fanbase.

Embarrassing. Remember these twats took apart a Chelsea team that had just won a Champions League for this "project". PE Teacher as a coach, circus clowns as sporting directors and owners with absolutely no clue what they're doing. All that money spent to prove you're morons.
@ChrisMedlandF1 All they can do this year is apply plasters to the issue. The regulations are a disaster and they know there's little they can do about it now besides minor tweaks.
Rosenior showing once again he isn't capable at this level. Awful tactics against City. Chelsea unable to defend as usual. Rinse and repeat every time we play. Only silver lining is City closing the gap to Arsenal.
@TheTrekCentral The studio either needs to let it rest for a while or bring in people who actually know what Star Trek is. The Kurtzman era has been a disaster. The majority didn't like the shows, and it is the majority going by the viewing figures. We don't need ANOTHER TOS reboot.
@TeleFootball@oliverbrown_tel Pathetic article. It was an experiment with key players missing to try and find solutions to problems such as a Kane injury. He won the group 8/8 and conceded no goals. This over the top gutter "journalism" is a key reason why England fail when it matters.
@NobleF1 Simple answer, no. The regulations themselves are a disaster, artificial racing and dangerous on top of that. They've damaged the sport with these ridiculous regulations just because they wanted Audi to join. The damage has been done and they need to bin these engines ASAP.
