@AndroidAuth I switched my parents from iPhones to Pixels for the excellent spam blocking and protection features. The Take a Message feature is better than other visual voicemail on Android. I still use an iPhone, but the Pixel 11 Pro is very tempting.
@OrahOnX That’s why a lot of those companies that do the data scrubbing (like Incogni) get your permission to do it for you and operate out of a state that does have high consumer privacy laws.
@cholentfarts@FeildenStuart@rexsalisbury I think it’s way better than Gemini as a personal assistant (which is funny since it’s built on Gemini). Siri isn’t as versatile, but that’s not what they’re aiming for.
@XFreeze I would use it to fix our church web page, optimize SEO, hunt down possible outreach and community activities that are not easily found because people don’t share information well, and then try and aggregate the information for others to access.
@stetsondoggett Now, if only we could just get more crowdsourced data on actual coverage. Where I live, the coverage map and the Verizon map say that Verizon gets 5G and LTE all over, but in practice, I may have LTE, but I'm not getting any download or upload speed.
@Jondo91@NetworkChuck Same. I just got verbally jumped as soon as I mentioned Grok. My only comment was that when I tried to use Claude, it was super token heavy and ate itself in a few minutes, meanwhile Grok didn’t run out on me and got the job done fairly well.
@Jondo91@NetworkChuck The worst person in the world can make a good product. Just because you don’t like the person at the top of something doesn’t mean all the products are innately bad.
I was just in a group last night of people telling me how great Claude is, and I said that I really do enjoy Grok. They immediately started complaining about Elon Musk and SpaceXAI, even though they probably haven't touched it since it first came out. It's amazing how much people immediately hate on X products.
