This is a fascinating quote. I would change it slightly.
If you have knowledge, light your candle and let others light theirs from it as well. Lightness is the cure to Darkness.
I have big ideas on how to change the world, and the change is an ever so slight shift in perception.
The long way home…
Close one eye.
Leave the other open.
Now switch.
That’s how slight the perception shift is…
… and it made all the difference.
Lucky Larry and Hustler Howie also aren’t that lucky or slick.
For some reason, they aren’t behind bars yet.
We need to start asking WHY?
Because they belong behind bars.
Trump is not intelligent, but he is logical and emotional.
Thats why he was somewhat effective last time. He likely did something during Biden’s administration that is being used as kompromat for Israel. That Kushner man-child isn’t right. His body language doesn’t make sense.
You're not an introvert. You're not an extrovert either. Those words were always measuring the wrong thing.
Everyone uses the same model. You either recharge alone or you recharge with people. You either think before you speak or you think by speaking. Myers-Briggs gave you four letters and you've been using them to explain yourself for thirty years.
The introvert/extrovert axis is real. It measures where you get energy. It says nothing about where you do your emotional processing — and those are not the same axis. Not even close.
Human Theory proposes a different spectrum. **Individuals** process internally. **Collectives** process externally. This has nothing to do with whether you love a party. It has everything to do with what happens when you leave one.
The Individual goes home and processes the entire evening in silence. Not because they're avoiding their feelings. Because that's where the computation happens — inside, compressed, alone. The Collective calls a friend. Not because they're weak. Because the conversation IS the processing. The words are not a report on what they already figured out. The talking is how they figure it out.
I am intensely extroverted. I come alive in a room full of people. I also process everything that happens in those rooms completely alone, in silence, afterward.
Myers-Briggs couldn't hold that. Pop psychology told me I must be fine because I seemed fine. What it missed: I had been processing grief alone since I was six years old, performing competence for every adult in the room, with no language for what I was actually doing.
Most of your miscommunication — in relationships, at work, with your kids — isn't about bad intentions. It's two people running different processing architectures without knowing it. The Individual goes quiet. The Collective reads that as abandonment. The Collective reaches out. The Individual reads that as suffocation. Nobody is wrong. Nobody has the framework.
Ask yourself: where do you actually do your emotional processing? Alone or out loud?
If you don't know that about yourself, you can't know it about anyone else either.
