NEW: Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg's office appears to be lying after they told Elon Musk that Buttigieg doesn't know pedoph*le Patrick Wojahn who was just sentenced to 30 years in prison.

Buttigieg claims that he has never spoken with Wojahn on the phone and they just so happened to take a photo together at an event.

"I was just informed by Secretary Buttigieg’s office that he does not know this person and has never spoken to him by phone. They say this was simply one of many pictures at an event," Musk said on X.

The comment from Buttigieg's office appears to be false considering Wojahn previously claimed that Buttigieg was his "mentor" and "buddy."

The pair had multiple photos together.

"I went to the US Conference of Mayors’ Winter Meeting in DC in January [2015] and he was assigned to be my buddy... I now serve in a leadership role as vice chair of city livability and bicycling in part due to his mentorship," Wojahn previously said.

Back in March, Buttigieg's own spokesperson told Fox News that they met multiple times.

"The Secretary did not know the former Mayor well, but did meet him a number of times through participation in U.S. Conference of Mayors programming, conferences and political events," the spokesperson said.

Wojahn was just sentenced to 30 years in prison for the exploitation of 500+ children.
