It was mostly just wanting some more colour to it. The original was very dark, and while it hit the right tone, i wanted a little more variety of colour to help the book stand out more.

@pages_author That's a good question 😂 The book has something for everyone. Medieval warefare, love story, political intrigue, a subvertion on the heroes journey. There's a lot of emphasis placed on the bonds of brotherhood, and the consequences of doing the right thing.

🌧️ 1. A 175k dark fantasy where the crumbling stone of ancient cities reflects the decay of a failing empire.
🔪 2. A lean 75k horror/comedy about a young man trying to navigate the corporate ladder of professional serial killing.
