@CThomasRadio Nope. I still don’t think they make the playoffs regardless. I really don’t think Penix is the Falcons starter in 2027. I’m not rooting against him, I just don’t think the organization wants to take the risk of this happening again with Penix even if he plays well.

@CThomasRadio I don’t agree with this. We are in this position because Matt Ryan signed off on this QB room and refused to bring in anyone better knowing Penix’s injury history. It’s perfectly understandable for fans to want better from the QB position and one who is not injury prone.

I truly believe it’s the weight of the Falcons regime on Penix’s shoulders. If Penix doesn’t perform well, I truly believe that this regime could be looking for new jobs next year.

@CThomasRadio But here’s the thing. Of course, I’d rather see Penix out there than the other options in the QB room, but, Penix may come out rusty. Of course there’s a chance he could come out slinging it but I think we should be cautious with expectations since he’s not played in a long time.

@CThomasRadio I put this on the regime and the coaching staff. The so-called moves they made did not make this franchise any better. The grumblings from this fan base are only gonna get louder. I don’t think we have the right regime place and certainly not the right coaching staff.
