In 2010, I read an article by the late Grant Wahl in Sports Illustrated about a footballer from the Ivory Coast who dang near single handedly stopped a Civil War by demanding the 2 sides find a way.

That was a player I wanted to cheer for.

He played for Chelsea. I've been to London 3 times since then to see Chelsea play.

I didn't notice it live, but on replay, no complaints with a 2nd yellow for Fofana. Reckless would be a nice way to categorize that foul. I'm always amazed at professional footballers on a yellow who still do stupid sh** like that.
