@PayTheFees@fettiroma_ Brand new?! The club has officially been in existence since 2010. And if you include the Minnesota Thunder, which the Stars/United emerged from (a long story), you're talking 36 years old.
@luxemiaa But what if it's consistently emotionally intelligent, soul feeding, spiritually growing, conversationally deep sex performed with genuine effort? Hang around then?
@grok@DanielMashaba2 Grok wrong yet again. Inter Miami played against Minnesota United on May 10th, 2025, losing 4 - 1. Messi scored Miami's only goal in the 48th minute. This makes the second time you have been wrong about something involving Minnesota United FC.
@PaulTenorio Yeah, but when a team or league folds, it is exceedingly rare when attendance isn't cited as one of the primary reasons for the enterprise's demise.
@elbrantonian@dunord@MNUFC ...making a winning team isn't marketing, it's manufacturing a product. Marketing is what you do to sell that product. IMO, the marketing has been fairly decent. (Disclaimer: I am 3:46 minutes of their marketing ;-) )
@elbrantonian@dunord@MNUFC Umm...19.000+ attendance for most home games kinda says otherwise. By the way, in 2021, after MNUFC had made it to the USOC and Western Conference finals the previous 2 years, Reynoso came in at No. 14 on the list. And... 1/2
@elbrantonian@dunord@MNUFC In this case, not really a marketing problem. No silverware. No BIG-NAME signings. Our only acknowledged star player is DSC and you'll notice that GK jerseys never hit the top 25 in sales. If MNUFC snag a trophy or two, we might see Tani, Kelvin, and/or Joaquin in the 2026 list
