@MrR1g4t@alexedicken So...theoretically run a players contract down to the last year and sell him for a higher profit....WRONG.
The other team knows that you don't control him beyond the end of his contract....his value to you at that point is zero.
If this was easy we'd all be doing it.
@MrR1g4t@alexedicken Not sure ANYONE understands the fact that players are listed as assets on the books of clubs based on their acquisition price...and are depreciated based on the length of their contract.
Sell them for less than book value and you got a LOSS that goes against SCR.
@molineuxmusings@hbrooks_coach Agree Muse...and it's very interesting that world class CBs that combine muscle and speed are probably the most rare of players on the pitch. They need to have the genetic makeup of height/size/speed and the tactical makeup that comes from long hours of training.
Seven Wolves players going to WC. If we assume that NONE get past group stage we still bring in over 2mil (dollars) from that group at 11k per day for group stage.
If five get to knockouts we will get another 500k.
These are rough numbers, but certainly in the ballpark.
@halfofame1 Not interested in going back to any of these guys. I know that it's a popular opinion to look back with fondness but these dudes are all now worn down....
I think the saying goes YOU CAN'T GO BACK HOME
@Wolves69er@jay_wwfc07 Can't we just go back to Doritos? Absolutely epic sponsor.
Or the legendary Whathouse.....stripes down the arms.....
Maybe Goodyear with the treadmarks...
Ah....simpler times bro.
@Wolves69er@jay_wwfc07 I believe that they are getting phased out in the PL as front of shirt sponsors but will remain on the sleeve.
No phase out in the C'ship though.
I concur, online gambling is a total rot on sports (and society).
@Wolves69er@jay_wwfc07 OK, a little more Wolf:
Midnite is a series C company based in London (United Kingdom), founded in 2015 by Rupert Brenninkmeijer, Daniel Qu and Nick Wright. It operates as an Esports betting platform for players.
@Wolves69er@jay_wwfc07 Had the same question Wolf. Went to the googlenet and found them to be an online gambling site. Can't figure out where they are based.
I kind of like the simple font and size of the name, doesn't take the shirt over.
