THE COMING FLOOD - an explanation. Or an introduction. Whatever.

I've decided I need a public, personal archive.

Am I famous?

No. Of course not.

Am I historically significant?

Not right now. But my history isn't over yet.

All I know is I'm getting "up there" in years. And I've been creating content for about 40 of those years -- novels; short stories; songs; poetry; lyrics; art; written opinions; diary entries; crackpot ideas; science commentary; religious commentary; societal commentary; and more.

And I'm still creating.

I can't stop myself.

I've created A LOT of content. Not to brag, but probably a lot more variety of content than most people will ever create. It's the simple truth. I'm not commenting on whether any of it is "good" or not, whether it's art or not. It simply IS. And it needs an official public resting place.

I don't want to be like the solitary hermit guy that nobody ever heard of but when he died, his apartment was discovered to be filled with thousands of works of art he had created and never shared over his long lifetime, and he becomes, tragically, posthumously well known.

For now, I've decided to make X that public resting place. So I'm probably going to start posting up a storm. I'm not intending to flood X, or flood anyone's "stream." There's just no other way to do what I want to do other than, well, technically--flooding. With such a massive library of personally created content, there's no other way to be appearing to do it.

Maybe someone will find this stuff useful or entertaining. Most probably won't care or even notice.

The one thing all this "stuff," this content, has in common is that it was created by me, Scott Reeves. Some of it, a very little portion of it, is AI-assisted. And that's only been possible recently.

So excuse me, forgive me if you think it's necessary.

But let the "floodgates" open.
