It would be unfair to backdate the rules change for those with active claims as those earning 60-80k today may not have active claims in place

@tb_1985 @MartinSLewis Pension is discounted but if you make contributions from your net pay (rather than gross) you need to inform HMRC of this to have your net income adjusted

@MartinSLewis @Jeremy_Hunt Thankyou martin. The HICB charge is grossly unfair. We homeschool our four kids and so my wife works minimal hours. I earn circa £65k after income reduction through pensions etc. and we are now dropping all Cbens. We also get no support towards homeschooling!
