@StuntmanStu Entertainment admission prices are just as bad though. It's a delightful relationship if you have the $$$. No one bargain shops for live ent and everyone knows it. No thanks.
@FrankBr05713205 considering the high cost of labor and the necessity of a vehicle today, you should be proud. Awesome to hear about this. Will you get into EV's at all at some point?
@ElaineWord62@ClownWorld Standard practice for these types of mailboxes, even here in Canada. If anything, my mail is safer then just an open mailbox outside my house with anyone walking by bothering to grab my mail if they actually want to. They actually usually lock them up before they leave.
@CanadianKayMD 35% rebate is dang good, so no wonder they are shooting a PEI story in PEI. Regs vary right now whether Netflix is actually obligated to do so to do business in canada, but a best seller book has mass appeal across different countries for netflix besides Canada.
@BruceFriskoCTV around 3 mins, Ernie mentions Danny Dark...another VO talent that was the voice of NBC at the time...and did cartoons as the voice of superman in "superfriends" in the 70s. He was ex radio too coming out of KFWB in LA.
@BruceFriskoCTV Best bit i've seen of Ernie. He worked with Tim Conway in Cleveland and Tim brought him out to LA. They even did a comedy album together. His son, Paul Thomas Anderson is an award winning director. Ernie has a 10 min OT reel dropping F bombs floating around online.
@BerylStapleton@RobertlewisIR@CBSNews Yeah. It's an american thing I guess. The few times I was ever stopped here in Canada, They are clear concise and polite, not that authoritarian "long arm of the law got you" power trip that seems to be more and more clear as the media notices. Not enough training.
@BowdenOnBass at :22 he says "I thought I saw your hand...." the guy should have apologized and moved on realizing that there is no way this will have enough evidence in court....yet....we know what happens. Thought and know are two different things.
@RobertlewisIR@CBSNews She tried to deescalate the situation with basic logic and he kept his tone. That didn't help. He talks way too fast for my liking. Kudos to her on how she handled that. The urge to say "oh, it's florida" is strong lol.
@NowIsAllUHav@FeelitWorking@WellitHappened1 Oh it usually is. Manufacturers are making new products that can't easily be repaired and won't supply consumers with tech info to repair it themselves. That's why the "right to repair" movement exists.
@NowIsAllUHav@WellitHappened1 The more elaborate appliances are, I totally agree with you. I bought a basic pair of amana/whirlpool top loading washer front load dryer. The previous pair I got 13 years out of. Less bells and whistles=less problems. Always keep it basic for appliances for reasons you mention.
