Scott Francis

Spurs fan since I was 7 years old when I saw us lose to Port Vale in one of the biggest cup upsets ever. It's been downhill ever since.

[Scott Francis @ScottSpurs77]

@charlieparrish Are you being genuine? He was average at best today. What is he supposed to be doing? I have no clue

[Scott Francis @ScottSpurs77]

@vkon1 How can they look so unathletic. Tonali and Solanke look like they're close to retirement. Until the last 10 Kudus looked incapable of running, I actually felt sorry for him. The club is rotten.

[Scott Francis @ScottSpurs77]

@LastWordOnSpurs On the quiet rubbish

[Scott Francis @ScottSpurs77]

@mitch_fretton We scored out first goals but that was the worst half of the season.

[Scott Francis @ScottSpurs77]

@LastWordOnSpurs Player plus cash for Martinez

[Scott Francis @ScottSpurs77]

@TalkingTHFC The man most responsible for turning us into a proper team again after the dead years. Terrible way for him to go.

[Scott Francis @ScottSpurs77]

@WindyCOYS I think there is a case for RKM being our worst ever PL player (regular starters). No skill, no aptitude, no awareness, no conscience.

[Scott Francis @ScottSpurs77]

@thespursweb RKM is our worst ever PL player

[Scott Francis @ScottSpurs77]

@LastWordOnSpurs Says the man who normalised us losing every week

[Scott Francis @ScottSpurs77]

@LastWordOnSpurs Absolutely spot on. There is something fundamentally wrong with THFC and there always has been.

[Scott Francis @ScottSpurs77]

@HotspurEdition As soon as the second half started I thought Archie Gray took the game on. Some great passes, turning upfield and big challenges. Genuine courage.

[Scott Francis @ScottSpurs77]

@LastWordOnSpurs @Matt_Barlow_DM We are eternal d1ckheads

[Scott Francis @ScottSpurs77]

@SimonTBadger @ChrisCowlin I also understand what you're saying on both points but given the point we're at where every aspect of the club hates each other where is there to go? This is worse than the late 90s. We're pre-Jol right now.

[Scott Francis @ScottSpurs77]

@SimonTBadger @ChrisCowlin I'm not saying we were on the up, it was clear after the CL final everyone at the club was 'hungover'. A smart club would have recognised a cycle for the team had ended and started a new one. Ditching Poch wasn't needed in my opinion, it was time for part two to begin.

[Scott Francis @ScottSpurs77]

@vkon1 Put up or sell up time for the Lewis family

[Scott Francis @ScottSpurs77]

@ChrisCowlin Exactly this. If they're not interested in making more of the club then move on. They don't need the money. I wonder what the aim is. Do they think we are a third tier club like Bournemouth, a second tier club like Dortmund or a top tier like Barca. Who are we supposed to be.

[Scott Francis @ScottSpurs77]

@Spelt_D_o_n_a_l @mitch_fretton We desperately need someone like him. The reason everything looks so bad in the middle is we literally have nobody like Modric or Dembele who can take the ball from the defenders and turn up the field, take on a man or play a forward pass.

[Scott Francis @ScottSpurs77]

@Spelt_D_o_n_a_l @mitch_fretton I see this as a problem too (that he plays so much) but also don't see the others as a solution either. A replacement in this position would be my top priority. I would have taken a chance and got Modric back.
