@liquorbox_@parnellpalme Yet young women are precisely the demographic most in favour of the big bearded man with the penis getting changed next to them.
@mangroves4eva@DrCameronMurray It's not just wealthy people that have investments. Again, what is wealthy? Are you able to define any of terms you use? Is a working class family with 1 investment property wealthy? What about someone with $50,000 in shares? Are they wealthy? regardless of their income?
@mangroves4eva@DrCameronMurray It's not, you've only accounted for one side of the equation. If you make less than 45k your effective tax rate is at most single digits if not zero once you take into account offsets and welfare benefits etc.
@mangroves4eva@DrCameronMurray "Fair" and "progressive" are contradictory terms when it comes to tax. How is it fair to take more money from the people that earn it and give it to those that don't?
Fair could be considered that everybody pay the same rate i.e. a flat tax.
@mangroves4eva@DrCameronMurray Oh so it's "significant" investments now? Furthermore. no one in the bracket you defined is paying significant taxes as you claimed. Most people in that bracket would be paying none or a tiny amount of tax.
@cmdibley Ahh yes, straight from the Left-wing gaslighting playbook.
1. Start the culture war then accuse others of engaging in culture wars when they respond.
2. See if you can work in some refences to Donald Trump so you can dismiss people via guilt by association.
@mangroves4eva@DrCameronMurray I see you still won't define what you mean by "poors", (I doubt you know either) . About 1 in 5 Aussie workers pay no net tax because of low incomes or offsets. Who are these people that pay "significant" tax and can't afford investments?
