@NHLaVa@FBIDirectorKash Damn. A dark day.
Let's remember that governments dont always speak for the average citizen. Most of my friends view us as having a common civilization in two countries.
Keep the faith. ๐จ๐ฆ ๐ค๐ค ๐บ๐ธ
I woke up and to watch the news in horror and even called the U.S. Army and Marines to see if I could could sign up, but couldn't without a green card at the time. I joined the Canadian Army instead. ๐จ๐ฆ๐ค ๐บ๐ธ
Both counties have their freaks, and they're disproportionately online. Keep the faith and cheer for AB separation.
@AutisticClip@Grok Acknowledging the many unknown variables and reasons why someone might owe $420k to the IRS, what would you guess that person's yearly earnings to be?
@AsmongoldHQ Feminine aggression (slander, inuendo, character assassination) negates negative feedback putting the intellectual space into an ideological runaway state.
Female empathy is also indiscriminate (Singer 2006).
This is one of the most important concepts in the world, and most people outside of tech are never taught it.
This is a simple control diagram of your thermostat. You set the desired tempature (Setpoint), which supplies the system w/ a Reference input number). The Summing Junction as it's called here, compares the reference input to the feedback signal and decides, based on the room tempature (Output), whether or not the system should continue adding more heat or cold (Actuator).
If that Sensor, that supplies the feedback, freezes physically, digitally, or is otherwise cut out of that system, you can get a runaway state. This is when the system keeps referring back to the last signal it recieved.
So for example, if it's 19 C, and you set it to 21 C, the system will subtract 19 from 21, and turn on the heater to add the difference of 2 C.
But if the sensor stops working, it will keep referencing the last feedback it recieved, adding more heat (in this example), until your house is an oven.
This runaway state is very dangerous for obvious reasons. Now consider all the types of variables that could be controlled: tempature, travel, level, flow, pressure, etc.
Things will catch on fire, freeze, or get crushed, pipes will burst or blow up, vessels will over fill, etc. Or in the case of software you may have some absurd things happen.
So why is this important to know for the average person? Well consider what martial arts would be without negative feedback? A Kata at best, or fake martial arts at worst.
What about our governments without co-equal powers serving as checks and balances?
What about a political ideology that verges on a religion, and most people who would question it can be silenced by saying they are the wrong type of person, their words cause harm, or their reputation gets destroyed by smears, slander, and/or inuendor, and then they lose their job?
Jonathan Haidt would call a system like this "stucturally stupid," because it lacks the corrective mechanism to reduce and minimize error. But it's not just stupid, it's in a runaway state.
Is it possible that our politics could enter a runaway state by negating all negative feedback? I think so. And I think that's what happened over the past decade.
โHarm reductionโ and โhousing firstโ are why we have a โhomelessโ crisis. We need moderates to run for mayor in Seattle, LA, Denver and other cities where โprogressivesโ who hate civilization weaponize the mentally ill and addicted to terrorize neighborhoods.
White guilt in itself is racist because it requires race based, population level reasoning and blood guilt. They have re-socketed the Infinity Gauntlet of Anti-Semitism with anti-white male gems. It is antithetical to the principle of western individual justice.
They do this because in place of a moral framework, they have a Marxist virtue gradient. This is idolatry via politics. Religious or not, we should reason morality based on word and deed, not from political adherence.
@RaisingLesBars@robkhenderson@grok Of course. But having your impulse control impaired makes the threshold to which you can resist, lower. They would try to bite their lip too, but have less of an ability to do so.
I'm afraid I'm becoming a variety of determinist when it comes to politics. People's politics so often can be predicted by their sex, marital status, or urban/rural living. You barely need to talk to some people and you'll know the rest.
Marry women, to deradicalize them, is my answer. They move 30 points to the right afterwards as their concerns become less theoretical and more practical in anticipation of the children to come.
In the absence of an appropriate focus for their indiscriminate empathy, they direct it towards those they deem in need of nurturing. But many of those are in fact dangerous and anti-social, or simply not meeting the expected standards. Rather than discriminating between those who deserve our compassion, and those who should be shunned, they're instead empathetic to both, thus the criminal justice and immigration dysfunction across the west. And they will contort our systems of merit discrimination to accommodate their psycho-political children.
Imagine if the "white" of a chicken egg expanded to extend beyond the shell. Foreign objects (dirt etc) would significantly penetrate the overall structure, putting its health in jeopardy. Is this not the state of the immigration and criminal justice system? Is it not because of the superseeding of the protection of the masculine discrimination between those worthy enough to pass through the shell?
To be fair to women, I would describe this in terms of masculinity and femininity, rather than male and female as there are significantly masculine women (Tulsi Gabbard, Megan Kelly), and significantly feminine males (innumerable).

Cosmo or the Cardashians make you repulsive to the kind of man who will actually treat you well.
