@realDrTT Why is this such a hard concept? I'm totally fine with people not sharing my beliefs. It doesn't insult me. I enjoy learning about Catholicism, Judaism etc. even the parts I don't personally believe in. I really like seeing where we all share truths though.
@LDSLaw@GHHILL1911 I don't understand how the prime minister resigning doesn't trigger an election. I guess since they didn't directly effect him, he's just an MP...
Just seems like- leader of elected party resigns because of unpopularity- but nothing else needs to change.
@realDrTT@plasmarob Concern is definitely warranted but of l black pilling is for the lazy and hopeless. Plenty of Americans still love their country. Maybe visit some new areas
@joyinbecomingp1 There are ways around this. Download it and change it's format. I did this with so my Kindle ebooks and now they are epubs stored on my own PCs.
Pretty easy to do, especially in Linux.
@RodRuiz14@joshnaa2gez Hieratic: A cursive, modified form of hieroglyphics used for formal documents on papyrus.
Demotic: A later, highly cursive script used for daily administrative and literary purposes.
Coptic: The final stage of the Egyptian language, written using a modified Greek alphabet.
@capitolhillcath If we disagreed on who Alexander the Great's father was, but agreed so his achievements and timeline, you wouldn't say we believe in a different Alexander, but that we believe something erroneous about him.
This is why the different Jesus schtick is just dumb and lazy.
@SandyofCthulhu@bankertobuilder Roundabouts seen to work well for small streets, in place of yield signs. But busy traffic they can get whole lanes stuck and dual lanes is just a mess- I don't want to circle the things 2-3 times to get over...
@realDrTT Well we don't recognize anyone else having authority to Baptise, but also there is the opportunity post death- as we believe that's how God makes allowances for our temporal situation.
This more for exaltation than simple salvation- as our understanding of hell also differs.
@OchoZaco You're framing this as a communist.
We're aren't keeping wealth from the poor, no wealthy organization is.
We have valuable assets that support our religious and humanitarian missions.
If we gave it all away, there would still be poor people- and our efforts would be hindered
@TejasRanger1836 Our theology is that none of us are created beings. We all come from eternal intelligences. Hope that helps. You might not like it, but that's what we actually believe.
@christitustech That's poor man thinking. The pie is not fixed. Make it easier for the common man to make his own pie. Every type of control from the government almost always disproportionately hinders regular guys from making new things.
@iamnyct0n01r During my decade in the army June was one of the few months without a good federal holiday to get a 4 day weekend.
And since Texas was the last slave state it marks the end of slavery overall. So I'm fine with it.
Both sides need to just let it be.
@SandyofCthulhu@SenWarren And why would this be a good idea? I feel people who don't have to pay- with either money or at least grade based scholarships, don't try to learn.
