If they’d moved quickly and decisively at that point and had him in place within a few days, we’d have looked at it as ruthless and proactive and trusted their decision. @SPFLWatch A few who were behind the play stopped and were claiming the foul but the rest played the whistle. The ref actually handled it perfectly by letting the play run until the ball was dead then giving what he thought was a foul.

@ScottBradleyX The fact that he’s lauded to such a degree shows how much standards have fallen. He’s been a great contributor and been involved in important moments but he’s by far the least decorated hall of famer we have. He’s been good, but we should be asking for better.
