The Straight Line Showdown strives to provide a level playing field and is why every car is checked for weight and voltage. If you’re running a RTR car, the car is checked to see if it is totally stock and that there is no tire additive put on tires.

The final in the Queen of the Streets saw Jazmine Hernandez vs Linsay Mae Murphy! When the dust had settled, Lindsey Mae would narrowly edge out Jazmine in a spectacular race! Lindsey scores $1,400 plus Dustin Malicoat of Team GFRP adding another $500. Jasmine would collect $400.

Lines are expected at big events and when it was time for registration, everyone wanted to get that out of the way to and onto the track as fast as possible.

The track has been open for a bit now and the line is long for practice, giving all drivers a chance to fine tune their cars. With a nice groove forming in the right and left lane, the grip is getting astronomical allowing cars to slingshot off the line at neck breaking speeds.

Get your pits spot quick! The pit area is filling up quick and even though there are a lot of racers here already, there is still a line waiting to get in, setup and get as much track time before official racing begins.
