207 days. That’s how long it’s been since we’ve had an NFL football game.
Some people loathed those days. Maybe your team’s season ended on a sour note, and all you can think about is getting another shot at a Lombardi. Or maybe you loved the offseason, because your team won it all and you got to call yourself “World Champion” in the faces of your haters.
Doesn’t matter now. We go again.
Sundays are back.
Your favorite players are back.
Tailgates are back.
Fantasy is back.
Big hits are back.
Trash talk is back.
Mid-season trades are back.
The script is back (we read it — it’s good).
No-look passes are back.
Butt punts are (maybe) back.
Admins posting too much about Mahomes is back.
Game-winning drives. Punt return TDs. Pick-6s. Big man TDs.
RedZone. Sunday Ticket. Crushing queso with your best friends.
Concerning the neighbors because you’re screaming at the TV so hard.
High-fiving random fans — at a stadium or in a sports bar.
American tradition. Global tradition (shoutout those UK and Germany games).
The football greatest minds and athletes putting it all on the line for one goal: Rings.
It’s back. It’s all back.
And you know what else is back? Content. Back to deliver the fire you love. So comment on those posts. Ride for your team, or tell us it’s not too late to delete. It’s cool, we get it.
No more preseason predictions. No more what-ifs. No more expert picks. We decide it on the field, starting tonight.
You won’t wait a day longer. 207 down to 0.
Welcome to the 104th NFL Season. You ready? #Kickoff2023

Derek Carr is the most underrated quarterback in the NFL. Won in Pittsburgh on a short week without Josh Jacobs and a makeshift offensive line, and was clutch again.
