CCC is peak, plus the story is a lot shorter and more simple than Extella which loredumps for Velber hard.
Though Tamamo in Extella definitely feels like a natural progression from her self in CCC, love that Amaterasu is a bit of a Tsundere.

Iirc Extella Link was originally intended to be a DLC campaign post story so that's why the timeline/route order is so scuffed.

Plus they didn't quite abandon Velber since Karl/Charlemagne are heavily implied to be a carrier of what remains of Velber 01.

Felt so much with Altera. Always awkward when it turns out their character is also vastly weaker or countered when just looking at the basic abilities.
Even more when some people pull out scans unprompted and you have to awkwardly dance around it.

Reminds me that Velber 01 just kinda crashlanded somewhere in the Alps and died, Velber 02 actually did her job and got blasted in the Carpathians, and Velber 03 is implied to be the Archetype of Nemesis, the Greek Goddess of Revenge.

I have the Mahjong set and each piece has a Extella-themed illustrations. Really nice to have a quality set.
Actually played a few games with it and forced myself to learn how to play with Mahjong Soul, not bad once you get used to how the game is played.
