It’s the biggest sport in the world outside of the United States

Your average MLS salary is no where near the rest of the world

The big reason why we’re seeing an improvement now is because of what Beckham did for the league

And now the like of Messi Suarez etc.

I mean in the sense of advertising

Look at your typical game in any professional league

How many stoppages do you get?
How many timeouts?
How many cuts to commercials?

All of that means more money for the leagues

Football only gets 2 (3ish) max

Before the game

Half time

And maybe a little post match

But by then most people tune out
