@russellmolimock @holbertonschool No real projects to speak of, and of course lack of accountability. I had to go somewhere else to finalize my learning and realize how much i needed to learn. Glad you had a good experience though.
@russellmolimock @holbertonschool In order to say that the lack of peer learning was the biggest issue you'd have to disregard a tremendous amount: The projects not finished with one person (whose also in charge of the entire online system) responsible for finishing it, lack of mentorship and help,

Glad that my county listens to the science and stays safe. It has led to an all time low of new cases with only 30 yesterday and lower each day. So proud of Alameda county's commitment and determination!
Classes in coding are one of those things that are easy to understand, but are very hard to master. Especially in large-scale applications, the right pattern can be a life saver.
@namenotavailble Educative is an online hub with 150+ programming courses on concepts and interview preparation. It's designed to give more of an in depth look than stack overflow or wikipedia articles, and helps software engineers get more familiar with new tools and concepts quicker.
My theory as to why most software engineers are left leaning is because they use data trends to help find solutions to inefficient or harmful systems.
I've seen too many conservatives use outliers to explain why current systems are just fine and it drives me crazy.
Having the right resources is so incredibly important for your skills, motivation, even your well being. Make sure you're putting your focus in the areas best for you.
