Going on theme with the generic pub name we had a bog standard generic pint of Guinness. Nothing flashy, Maybe all the budget went into getting kegs of Guinness rather than the glasses which is unforgivable!

We have the worst Guinness in Clitheroe! So Bar… more like No Bar, it took that long to get served (in a dead bar mind you). So Bar zero domeage and boldness, flatter than a pancake. Some decent shtick but overall not great!

✅The Nitro Surger devices works well with normal cans of Guinness and you get some good consistent head. The Surger cans are a lot creamier 😋

🚫We wouldn't invest anymore into the surger cans as they are too expensive and the results are not amazing. ❌

Not their speciality here so we can give a little pass to these lot, the variety of beers are class 😍 When it comes to Guinness… we’ve deffo had worse but here is just average! A case of down it and enjoy the food instead.

Bowland Brewery - Clitheroe

Right lads… this was the high hope, the holy grail of Clitheroe beer and we were let down big time! The head was poor, the flavour was weak, the pour was shocking and the glass absolutely desecrated the st James' image!
