Video of Toby Harris going through his pre-draft workout drills. Such an unbelievably good shooter.
A legit skill set at 6’8”, 225 pounds. He’s going to play in the NBA.
All over the map with these and obviously there are lots of guys that are not on this list, but here are some mid-major guys I’m buying stock in before the season tips.
Matija Samar led Spain's Segunda FEB in scoring before Oregon State.
6'6 Slovenian wing, 91.7% at the line.
Breakout candidate for Mark Turgeon and Kansas City this year.
Tyler Wagner hit 38.6% from three at Austin Peay and scored 20 at Bellarmine.
6'5 wing and a Minnesota native. North Dakota needs his scoring and shooting this year.
Kayden Allen will be a big time piece for Georgia Tech this year.
Would not shock me if he’s one of the most productive freshmen in the ACC.
Big time frame with big tools.
Adama Tambrdou doesn’t look like a typical freshman.
6’7 and 220 pound frame. Probably won’t play a huge role this year, but he’s a really interesting developmental guy for Buzz Williams.
I feel like Devin Royal was undervalued at Ohio State.
Now at a bigger basketball brand, it wouldn’t shock me if he’s one of the more nationally recognized players by the end of the year.
Nova needed physicality and a winning mindset. He has that.
Jake Fiegen is going to be such a great player for Villanova this season.
An electric shooter. One of those guys who could knock down 5–7 threes in a game multiple times this year for Nova.
Can get hot in a hurry.
Cheick Sylla is going to surprise some people in the MAC.
6’9 240 pound freshman with real feel and touch from the five spot. Physical frame. Can make some legit passes out of the short roll too.
Very high on the upside with him.
Bobby Crawford Jr. shot 65.2% as a freshman starter at Lander.
6'8 sophomore and the efficiency is the selling point for UTRGV.
Was a winner at the D2 level. Really good hands.
Jonas Nichols is HCU's breakout bet for me.
11.6 PPG on 41% from three for a 27-8 Northwest Florida State team.
Three years left. Super physical frame.
Andy Stefonowicz is ready for another jump at NDSU after 9.1 pts, 4.8 ast and 3.1 rebs as a soph.
41.6% FG, 37.7% from 3 and 90.3% FT with a 2.32 AST/TO ratio.
Such a good player. One of the biggest breakout guys in all of CBB for me.
Dace Pleasant joins Omaha as a good catch-and-shoot wing from NJCAA champ Howard College.
The 6'6" junior hit 35.0% from three and 82.4% at the line. Not a ton of creation, so he should have a simple role as a floor spacer.
Luke Gray gives Oral Roberts a 6'6" junior who plays bigger than his size. P
hysical, tough big body who shot 57.4% inside the arc and sits in the 81st percentile in block rate. Shot it well from the line too.
Iliam Fevry comes to South Dakota after 9.7 pts, 4.4 rebs and 2.1 ast at Arizona Western as a FR.
Real two way ability. 54.2% FG, 35.1% from 3, plus 0.9 stl and 0.5 blk. Super high on him long term.
Super old highlights...but Chas Lewless gave West Georgia 12.8 pts, 2.9 rebs and 2.9 ast in 10 starts before injury.
The R-So shot 88.5% FT, while 57.7% of his shots came from three.
Cleaning up 37.8% FG and a 1.21 A/TO could unlock a real combo guard.
Terrion Burgess flashed real upside in 6 games for Little Rock: 7.5 pts, 3.2 rebs and 1.2 ast in 23.5 min at 6'9".
He shot 65.4%, 42.9% from three and posted 71.9 TS%.
Small sample, but that efficiency and size are awesome.
Pro type prospect.
Ansar Osman comes to North Alabama after 17.9 pts and 5.1 rebs at Snead State.
6’7” junior shot 47.7% FG, 44.9% from three on 207 attempts and 79.8% FT, good for 63.9 TS%.
High volume shooting with wing size gives Tony Pujol a plug and play scorer.
