Dear Priscilla,
Of everyone I was blessed to meet at @WWCLiveEvents on Saturday in Hartford, I’m glad I met you.
I want to thank you and your wonderful family for your kindness and hospitality, and I want to especially thank YOU for giving me your resume. VERY IMPRESSIVE.
I have no doubt that somewhere down the line, you’ll make your dreams come true. And that’s because I could feel your passion for what we do.
I don’t know if I’ll be the GM when you make your dreams a reality, but I hope I am. Then we can look back on this 11-year-old’s version of you and your resume again, and remember an awesome day.
I am very lucky to be able to do what I do, and most of that is because of incredible people like you. I look forward to seeing the history you will undoubtedly create in your future.
And THAT…is official.
Thank you, Priscilla. You made my day.
With respect,
Adam
General Manager
Monday Night RAW
I’m not a Bears fan. T’was forbidden in my house. I own ONE piece of Bears paraphernalia: A Sweetness jersey.
But I am 100% Chicagoland born and bred. Grew up and trained and cut my teeth in the city.
NO ONE embodied CHICAGO ATTITUDE to adolescent me more than Coach Ditka, and this image is the embodiment of that time in my life. A framed copy hangs in the Bally Muck, the corner bar I grew up behind and still frequent when I find my way back home.
In the Muck, I always throw one back in honor of the Coach. Next time it’ll be bittersweet.
Godspeed, Mike Ditka.
Rest well, Coach.
